Our journey

James Hay have helped to grow people’s savings and sense of security for more than 40 years, and our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We strive to deliver service excellence through advisers, so they can enable investors to navigate the second half of their financial lives.

In August 2021 the FCA gave regulatory approval for James Hay to acquire Nucleus Financial. Together we’re one of the leading, independent, adviser platform groups in the UK. We’re now busy combining the best of both businesses to develop a service that truly meets the needs of advisers and their clients. Our aim is to build the UK’s best retirement-focused adviser platform so that we can empower advisers to help them meet their clients evolving long-term financial planning needs. And we have a strong foundation to build on.

We have an exciting future ahead as we bring James Hay and Nucleus together, building on the many strengths across both companies with a vision to make retirement more rewarding.
