HM Revenue & Customs publishes Customer Guide to Inheritance Tax

On Friday 1st September HMRC published a Customer Guide to Inheritance
Tax dealing with the procedures for payment of inheritance tax upon
death of a member whilst drawing an Alternatively Secured Pension
(ASP). The guidance defines ASP, when IHT is chargeable, who is liable
for the tax and when it is applied to the estate of a dependant;
included are a number of examples.
