James Hay Investment Centre
Providing easy access to a wide selection of investments
Our Investment Centre provides easy access to a wide selection of investments from leading fund managers. It offers:
- Online dealing
- Fund switching
- The benefit of wholesale discounts, which are passed on to investors
- Opportunities for SIPP members to invest in some funds normally reserved for institutional pension investors
The Collect Funds
The Collect Fund range is an extensive collection of unit trusts and OEICs available through the James Hay Private Client SIPP and eSIPP.
For SIPP members, investing in the Collect Funds offers the simplest and easiest way of managing their portfolio, using our James Hay Online service or the instruction forms that are available. We will keep records and provide valuation statements.
There are no initial charges taken by James Hay on any Collect investments. This means that of all the funds within the Collect range, approximately 90% of the funds will carry absolutely no initial charge, whilst for the remaining 10% only the fund manager’s charge (of on average 0.33%) applies.
Find more information about the Collect Funds, including Terms and Conditions by visiting our SIPP literature page.
The Select Funds
Available if a client has a Financial Adviser appointed. The Select Funds offer exclusive access to a number of institutional pooled pension funds, including specialised funds. This range of funds is offered through our Private Client SIPP, Select SIPP and eSIPP.
Financial Advisers can obtain full information about the Select Funds, and the Terms and Conditions that apply to them, by visiting our SIPP literature page.
The Wrap Investment Centre
The Wrap Investment Centre is available for all products (except the Cash ISA) within the Wrap and allows you to purchase collective investments on behalf of your client at discounted rates. Fund information and trading is available through our online Wrap service.
Points To Consider
- All investments can go down in value as well as up in value
- Property funds, particularly in current market conditions, are not considered to be liquid investments and may not be readily realisable
- Some investments carry a higher degree of risk than others. Individuals should be sure that they fully understand the risks of such products before proceeding to invest in them and seek independent financial advice if necessary
