The James Hay SIPP is launched.

1979

James Hay founded as a private company. The company grew to become the UK’s foremost independent provider of self-administered pensions and went on to pioneer the development of SIPPs.

IPS Partnership establishes its first small self-administered scheme (SSAS), becoming one of the largest SSAS providers in the UK.
